IS Run.Catch.Kiss and Victor Loveless, a DJ/Producer team who make light from darkness. Exploding out of the NYC underground dance scene, 2011 is the year when Villains take over.
Victor Loveless, AKA Shane X Conry, comes by way of the West Coast and has been a staple of the NYC club scene for the past 12 years. Working from studios all over NYC, Mr. Loveless has mixed everything from Hip-Hop, Jazz and Rock to Disco-House, Indie Electronica and Tech. His musical portfolio includes remixing and producing songs for Madonna, Kraze and Heloise and the Savoir Faire, to name a few...
Local City Villains DJ extraordinaire, Run.Catch.Kiss, AKA Keith Stanigar, has been spinning down tempo and house records since 2001. Calling Austin, TX home, Run first played lounges like Red Fez and upstairs at Johnny Fins. He also includes SXSW and KVRX college radio among his musical venues.
Vic and Run met through their mutual friend Ansidis-- a fellow underground DJ/Producer- and hit it off immediately. The newly formed team began collaborating on an EP in late 2010 and expects to have the hot single “Humanimal” ready for release in early 2011. With an always fresh live set that combines performance and techno inspired DJ skills, Local City Villains is unique, deep and superbly entertaining.
Come down and go deep with Run.Catch.Kiss and Victor Loveless as Local City Villains. But don’t be afraid...they’ll only take you as far as you’re willing to go.

Having been infatuated by electronic music from a very young age, it was just amatter of time until Jim Ramer would try and make his mark on the dance musicscene. Drawing influence from 80s and early 90s electronic acts like Depeche Mode,New Order, Front 242, Skinny Puppy and Ministry, Jim began experimenting withproducing his own tracks in 1991. With what began as a hobby soon became anobsession when Jim discovered a little haunt in his native Gainesville, Florida, thelegendary Simon's.House, progressive house, trance, techno...call it whatever you want, Jim washooked. For years it was just clubbing, buying records he couldn't afford and lovingthe music. It wasn't until he met Justin Nichols(Mojolators) while attending collegethat he was convinced to take a more serious approach toward producing tracks.Justin and Jim collaborated and began producing tracks that started getting notice ontheir label Unison. As is typical in a college town, graduation came along and Jim and Justin partedways. Jim then started working on solo tracks under the alias of Xero andreleased "Marooned" on Unison. "Marooned" got quite a bit of attention from thelikes of Paul Van Dyk, Chris Fortier, Taylor, Steven McCreary (charted #1), Pezz andJimmy VanMallegham. Upon hearing the track, VanM rang Jim up and recruited himto work in his studio. The two tracks they worked on (one which was a collaborationwith Sam Mollison and Jesse Skeens[Medway]) never were released but got heavyrotation from Sasha and John Digweed.Other projects include include two releases with Kyle Hogan under the nameFilterfuks on Dave Seaman's Audio Therapy Records and Vortex Records. Their firstrelease, "Mojo", was featured on Liam Kennedy's "Atomic Trance" Mix CD.
